Course Description:

This class is designed to give artists of all experience levels the opportunity to further develop, or learn, the essential skills used to make successful drawings. Topics covered will include: basic forms, perspective drawing, describing form, light and shadow, studies of masterworks and composition. We will focus on sketching something new each week and equipping you with the tools and skills needed to successfully draw a variety of subjects from life. Absolute beginners are welcome!

Accessibility note: This class will take place on the second level of the building. We unfortunately do not have an elevator or stair lift at this time. Students enrolled in the class will need to be able to navigate the stairs to access the classroom. We are happy to assist in any way we can to make this more manageable for students with mobility constraints.
