Course Description:

This course is designed to give students the skills to draw from life, and from their imagination. Students are encouraged to develop their understanding of art and composition, while working with a professional artist. 

Topics covered will include:

• sketching from photo

• sketching from life

• sketching from imagination

• simple shading

• drawing composition

• design fundamentals

• 3D drawing

This class focuses on student driven projects. Each student will meet with the teacher to discuss their learning goals, and will create their own plan for a project spanning the course.
