Afternoons daily from 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Ages 11 - 17 (12 Students Maximum)

Instructors: Neil Smith and Chris Canales-Cisneros

Using a variety of drawing approaches and materials, students will spend exciting afternoons creating their own comic in any style they are passionate about. Their comics will be collected and printed as part of this workshop in collaboration with Spare Room artist studio in downtown Barrie.

Students will visit a working art studio collective called Spare Room with Neil and Chris as part of this workshop, they will have the chance to see both of the artists’ personal studio spaces at Spare Room and have an opportunity to print their comic on a Risograph machine!

The group will be walking to Spare Room from Drawing House which is located in Lakeshore Mews across from Heritage Park on Simcoe Street. Click here for map
